Seahorses are some of the ocean's most delicate and graceful creatures.
Unfortunately, they are harvested in great numbers, mostly in Asia where they are considered to have
great healing powers when dried and ground into powder.
To a lesser extent, they are also collected and sold in souvenir shops. It is incumbant upon us as
marine enthusiasts to try and protect our oceans, and we can do this by captive breeding methods.
The purpose of this site is to provide information about some of the most popular captive bred species,
and illustrate how far captive breeding programs have come in recent years.
In the following pages we wish to share some of our photos and experiences with you.
All of our seahorses are happy, fat and sassy and eagerly eating frozen
PE mysis,, frozen Hikari mysis, enriched frozen Hikari brine shrimp, and our own cultured enriched live brine shrimp.
